Smartphone Photography Workshop #3 of 3

WORKSHOP #3 - TAKING CONTROL OVER YOUR SMARTPHONE CAMERA

This hands-on workshop will focus (pun intended) on using powerful camera apps like Camera+ for iPhone to take full control over your amazing little iPhone camera. Android users are welcome to attend, but Camera+ is exclusive to iPhone.

In this workshop you'll learn:

  • How important taking control over your camera's White Balance is (especially for Fall foliage)
  • How ISO affects your exposure
  • How to manually adjust your shutter speed
  • How to set white balance for optimum images
  • Manually focus your smartphone

My name is Jim Mayhew and I've rediscovered my love for photography because of my iPhone and the freedom it gives me to MAKE incredible pictures. If you're like me, your phone is always with you. I'll show you how you can take advantage of photo opportunities like never before.

In WORKSHOP #1 on 8/11/16, we discussed how to set your phone up for the best options to make (not 'take') awesome pictures. We also explored basics of editing with Snapseed (my favorite - and FREE - app for editing) as well as 8 tips for better composition of your pictures. We also did some live editing! Whew!

In WORKSHOP #2 on 8/18, we got our hands busy doing advanced editing with Snapseed to make incredible photos you'll be proud to hang on your wall and show all your friends and family.

Don't worry. If you missed Workshop #1 or #2 and still want to come for #3, you will still learn a LOT. Plan to join and if you show up a little early, we'll get your phone set up properly.

The workshop is FREE to attend. Bring a notebook, your device and a creative spirit!
